Who I Am

Full-stack software engineer with 6+ years of production experience. At Vail Systems, I worked on FreeClimb, a CPaaS platform powering voice and SMS capabilities for enterprises, using Next.js, TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

That environment taught me to think beyond features and start thinking in systems. My long-term goal is principal engineer, the person in the room making architectural decisions that shape how an entire engineering org builds.

Outside engineering I run CB-VIP, a grant-funded cybersecurity and violence prevention program for at-risk youth on Chicago's South Side. Transferring to Loyola University Chicago fall 2026 on a Transfer Regents Scholarship.

Full-stack campaign management platform for enterprise SMS/voice. Designed the relational schema from scratch, engineered a Prisma client singleton for serverless connection pooling, and authored all technical design documentation before implementation.

Python-based financial fraud investigation platform built for the CB-VIP capstone. Three student analysts investigated 5 embedded crimes in a 211-transaction dataset using in-browser Python (Pyodide). Role-coded access per analyst: Lead Investigator, Data Analyst, Forensic Reporter.
